New housemate - Snowball

Sometimes I am a little rash. I hope this wasn't a rash but poor decision, however yesterday I bought a little cat. I spend a lot of time at home, working on my website etc., and I feel a little short on good friends, so I bought a cat. Cats may not be a fun as dogs, but I think they are a little easier to take care of. I was feeling a little down and lonely all day yesterday. There is a pet store near my building. I like animals, and there is a kind of cute girl who works there, so I just walked in. The girl was friendly and I saw a cute cat in a cage in the back. As soon as I stuck my fingers though the cage to touch him, he started licking my fingers and was pretty friendly. I never thought I would ever want a cat, but there are some very good points about cats.

They are pretty clean. They litter in the litter box. It didn't take long at all for the cat to understand that was the litter box, and that was where to go. After he ate, I just put him in his box, clawed at the sand pebbles, and he figured the rest out.

Another thing, they are quiet. I live in an apartment building and I don't want to bother my neighbors. So a cat can be good quiet company.

Today, I had him cleaned and get the first of his necessary shots. I bought him some toys and a board to scratch his claws, as well as place to sleep. For now, I am calling him Snowball, because he is a completely white except for black stripe on his head.

So far, I have not checked if his preferred language is Chinese or English.
